The purpose of the Maryland Life Safety Information Exchange is to provide citizens and emergency personnel of the state of Maryland with current, life-saving information. The Exchange was founded out of a shared desire between the Maryland State Firemen's Association and the Office of the State Fire Marshal to reduce the risk of preventable accidents and emergencies within the state.
