2018 Public Fire and Life Safety Educator Seminar
Calling all Fire and Life Safety Educators! Join us Saturday, March 24th for the Public Fire and Life Safety Educator Seminar. The seminar will be held at the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute from 8:30-3:30. Registration is open from now until Friday, March 16.
Presentations will include relevant fire and life safety topics such as:
-Opioids: Danger to Your Community and to Responders
-Community Resources: Who, What, & Where to Find Local Resources
-Burn Prevention: Teaching All Ages What Is "Too Hot To Touch"
-Prevention Messages Through Mascots
-Public Fire Prevention Education: Reaching Different Audiences
The day will be concluded by the MSFA Fire & Injury Prevention and Life Safety Committee's joint update.
