Keyera Energy Recalls to Inspect Propane Gas Due to Fire and Explosion Hazards

The CPSC announced a recall from Keyera Energy on propane gas due to the gas not containing sufficient levels of odorant to alert customers of a gas leak. Failure to detect a gas leak can lead to fire, explosion, and thermal burn hazards.

Consumers should contact the retailer, supplier, or Keyera Energy to arrange for a free inspection and repair, if needed.

Consumers are reminded to have and maintain carbon monoxide alarms in homes or other buildings that utilize propane gas.
